Class Award 5 Dec
Leon got the class award on Friday 5 December for writing amazing stories with lots of descriptive words. He has also shown ability with problem solving in maths. Leon is very focused with his learning and is achieving well. Keep this up Leon!
Class Award 28 Nov
Lucia got the class award on Friday 28 Nov for going above and beyond what is expected in all of her learning. She is a focused learner who takes an active part in all class programmes. Well done and deserved Lucia.
Class Award 14 November
Max got the class award on Friday 14 November for a great application to and progress with his learning tasks. He is achieving very well in maths and is writing amazing descriptions by using a range of interesting words. Well done Max. keep this up.

On Friday 31 October Cruz got the class award for very good participation in all class programmes. He has listened well and taken an active part. These are great skills to have. Well done Cruz.

Term 3 Principal's Challenge
The Principal's Challenge for Term 3 was for being a good problem solver. Lucia was given this award for Room 5 because of her ability to find several solutions to problems. He also enjoys helping others to solve problems. Well done Lucia.
Class Award 19 September
Cade got the class award on Friday 19 September for willing to try new and difficult skipping activities. He can run through a turning rope and also skip a few times before running out as well. Amazing skipping Cade, well done.
Class Award Friday 5 September
On Friday 12 September Keziah got the class for being a motivated writer and writing interesting stories. She also writes on a variety of topics. Keep this up Keziah, well done.
Physically Active Award
All classes gave their class award on Friday 5 September to a child that had excelled at the recent swimming programme held at the ASB Aquatic Centre. The physically active learner award for Room 5 went to Evonne who made amazing progress with her water skills. Well done Evonne, keep this up.

Saskia got the class award on Friday 22 August for a positive and focused attitude towards learning. She also takes an active part in all class activities. Well done Saskia.
Class Award 1st August
Evie got the class award on Friday 1st August for showing respect towards others, "The Birchwood Way". She has demonstrated a caring and kind attitude towards two new girls in our class. She has helped them to feel happy at school. Thanks for helping us Evie, and well done, you are a great role model.

Tayla got the first class award for Term Three for a great start to the term and fast and accurate work in mathematics. Well done Tayla, keep this up.

Cody got the class award today for a positive attitude towards learning. An active part is taken in all class activities and he also relates very well to others. Well done Cody.
Being Physically Active
On Friday 6 June all classes had to choose a Physically Active learner. In Room 5 Max got the award because he shows a positive attitude towards cross country training and always tries hard. Max is also very active in the playground and enjoys playing games with others. Well done and good luck with the cross country Max.
Class Award 30 May
Mia S got the class award on Friday 30 May for great writing. Mia writes long and interesting stories and is now using paragraphs to group her ideas. Well done Mia your attitude and achievement are amazing!
